Create a schematic with a spreadsheet?

I need about 15 or 20 very simple PCBs. They are comprised of two to four 50-100 pin connectors. I am creating them from an existing excel spreadsheet listing connector numbers and pins. Is it possible to import this into Capture? If not, is there any quicker method to get to the finished PCB layout? Possibly create a netlist from the spreadsheet?

Thanks

There is one trick that I can think of.  In the library editor build a new part from spreadsheet.  You can cut and paste columns directly from Excel.  Set the pin type to "Power" and it will allow Capture to connect all pins with the same name to each other.  In your case it sounds like you would need to build two to four unique parts.  Then you just drop the parts on to your schematic and the nets coming from the power pin names will all connect.

Thanks! That sounds like a good idea.

We ended up making symbols from the spreadsheet so that the connections lined up and then just sticking them together.

Elgris Technologies (www.elgris.com) can generate a netlist or an OrCAD Capture schematic from an Excel spreadsheet,
