Adding Multiple values to single field in CIS database

Hi,

I'm Using excel as my part database. I have to add two manufacturer part numbers in a single field named "MFGP/N". So When I try to place the symbol, I can choose which part number need to give like selecting one from multiple symbols. Is there any possiblitity to do so?

OK, you have a Base Release so it might be worth contacting whomever you got the software from about getting up to date, s035 was issued at the end of February. OK, the Part Number, required field, specifies one, and only one, part, that is turn is going to have exactly one manufacturer. If you want different manufacturers, they are different parts, if you want different suppliers of the same manufacturer, you need a relational database, or more fields, to support the alternate suppliers. Whilst "a" capacitor might be considered to be the same thing, a capacitor from AVX and a capacitor from Kemet (just to name two vendors) are not the same thing, especially if you want any traceability of supply.
