3d models are pink

Why some step 3d models are displayed in pink colour 3d canvas?

    This is normally related to the STEP standard the part was saved in. there is AP203 and AP214 (and also AP242). AP203 is normally on single part and color so see if you can get the model in AP214, most CAD tools will export that. It could also be the color that the model was originally created in. You can try opening the part in something like FreeCAD, select all and change the color then resave the STEP model.

    Thanks Steve you are right. I used FreeCad and converted to AP214.
