removing inherited fixed properties on a symbol

When I select a symbol  it also highlights certain clines segments and vias. Some how these are inherited to the connector. How did this happen and how do I remove it ?

Might be part of a group or a Place replicate module. In Placement App Mode (set Find filter to groups) hover over the symbol, if it all highlights right click - Disband Group. You can also try Edit - More - Groups then look at the options pane.

Thanks but it is not a group . When you select the symbol it also selects some clines and vias. The cline and vias are inherited to the symbol. If you fix the symbol it also fixes the clines and vias.

OK try opening the filename.dra and check to see if this contains the clines and vias. You can remove them here and then update the board using Place - Update Symbols

They are not part of the footprint. If you unfix the footprint you can delete them. If you fix the symbol you cannot. They become fixed  if you fix the symbol.

OK then they could be fanouts (Route - Create Fanout). Try Route - Convert Fanout - unmark and see if that sorts it.

That was it. Funny I did not create any fanouts. I did do lots of copy and paste to create fanouts. Thanks for your help.
