How to customize device type in Allegro

Faysal
Faysal over 7 years ago

Hi Team,

I want to add some customize info in the device type of components in Allegro. By default, device type follows format "source package_pcb footprint_value" from Orcad. I want to add part # and case size to device type. I believe some variable/setting need to initialize/alter in Orcad Capture Schematic setting. In Concept HDL, same can be done by defining custom fields in part developer but not sure in Orcad.

If some one have idea then please share. Thanks.
