PCB Editor: how to transfer layer color setup between boards?

Hello! After I have setup the layers and colors to my liking in a board, how can I transfer these layers/colors to other boards? The designs use the exact same physical stack properties; it's just the coloring setup what I want to transfer between designs. In particular, I want to transfer the "Class/Subclass (user selected)" layers appearing in my "Visibility" tab, as shown in the example below. How can I achieve this?

Thanks, Jorge.

Open File>Export>Parameters... in your source board file, enter the output filename of 'colors.prm', enable the 'color layer' & 'color palette' options,  then pick Export followed by Close

Then open your target board file and use File>Import>Parameters... to read 'colors.prm'

Thank you for your reply, David! for some reason everything gets exported and imported properly except the "Class/Subclass (user selected)" layers. I tried checking different options during the export, without luck. Can you please confirm if in your version the "Class/Subclass (user selected)" layers also get transferred? I am using Allegro PCB Designer 17.2-2016.

    Thanks and regards, Jorge.

    Jorge,

I have been using 16.6 based upon my customer requirements, however this morning I switched to 17.2 & tested the 'export parameters' output, the output file doesn't appear to contain the design data you refer to as "Class/Subclass (user selected)" layers.

Oh, I see. Then they must have changed this in v17.2. If you find a way to achieve the export/import of the  "Class/Subclass (user selected)" layers in v17.2, please let me know!.

    Thanks and regards, Jorge.
