Ignore component in the netlist

Hi everyone,,

I  trying to ignore a component in the netlist but I not have had  successful.

I want to have a component in the BOM but I wan't it in the netlist ( for import in allegro).

I tried the SPiceOnly property but in this case I don't have the component in the netlist and also in the bom.  I see the BOM_IGNORE property. Is there a same property for PCB footprint (ex. PCB FOOTPRINT_IGNORE or NETLIS_IGNORE) ? How can I solve this problem?

Thanks.

Filippo

In 17.2, you can use the NETLIST_IGNORE property assigned to the Part, set the property Value to TRUE. The part will then be in the BOM but not in the netlist.

If the schematic symbol has no pins, it will not be mentioned in the netlist.

This cheat allows us to keep track of hardware and jumper block ordering info in the CIS/CIP system.

Each part uses a schemo symbol that is a simple rectangle.

Thanks, I fixed the problem. I use NETLIST IGNORE property. I discovered also BOM_ IGNORE.
