Can not open more then one board design in 17.2

Hello,

I am using orcad pcb designer professional 17.2 but I can't open two boards simultaneously. If one pcb design is open and I try to open another pcb board, I run into license problem and program does not open second design. I think I need to be able to open more board designs simultaneously. 

How can I solve the issue?

    This is how licensing works.  One board per license.

    If you look in the installation folder (C:\Cadence\SPB_17.2\tools\bin) there is an allegro_free_viewer.exe that will allow you to open as many board files are you like. This is only a viewer though so no changes.

    Is it possible selecting some objects in the viewer and then past in the other PCB?

    Thank you for your support. I have some annoying problem which is funckey functions are lost if I click on any menu item. If I click to menu tabs or something on visibility, find and options tabs, function keys don^t work anymore. I need to click to the area which is next to green bar under the command window and then funckeys start working again. I need to click that area everytime I make some changes on that visibility, options or find tabs. 

    Is that a common issue or something wrong with my scripts or env file?

    It seems like Find filter in the viewer is disabled?  Is this right?

    So if a researcher in the lab wants to trace a net, they can't do it without  checking out a full license?

    I hope I'm missing something here, am I?
