Select a specific property in a component group

Hello,

I am using Allegro Design Entry HDL 17.2-2016.

Let's say I want to select all the VALUE properties of all resistors using the console window.

Is there any way of using FIND, select all resistors and then add all the VALUE properties attached to all the components of the group?

I know it must be possible, but I cannot figure out how.

Thanks in advance,

Daniel

    Ok, I have found a way of doing this.

    For example, I want to show, paint and change the size of the PACK_TYPE properties of all the resistors present in a page:

    {We select al the resistors plus all their properties}
    set next a
    find phys_des_prefix=r
    include bodies
    include properties

    {Now we find all the PACK_TYPE of all the components}
    set next b
    find pack_type

    exclude a b {At this point we have in a all the resistor bodies and properties but the PACK_TYPE}

    {We select again all the resistors plus all their properties}
    set next b
    find phys_des_prefix=r
    include bodies
    include properties

    {And we remove from b all the bodies and all other properties but the PACK_TYPE}
    exclude b a

    {At this point we have selected all PACK_TYPE properties of all resistors}

    {show property}
    display value b

    {paint property}
    paint aqua b

    {change size}
    set size 0.5
    display default b

    I hope this is helpful to others.

    Cheers,

    Daniel
