utility to view the cross-probe messages between orcad capture and allegro pcb editor.

there is no need to import logic from orcad in order to be able to cross probe with allegro.

    It depends.

When I translate layouts from other layout software to Cadence, have to apply the CIS netlist to set the partname property the official Allegro way.

Then, I can update all footprints to get the step models, place and DFA boundaries as it's pointless to capture that for PADS.

With EMA-EDA's Circuitspace plugin, you skip all that as it allows you to crossprobe from (non-CIS) intelligent PDFs (DxDesigner)...

i wish i can read out messages ping-ponging between orcad capture and allegro pcb editor.

sometimes, some parts are able to cross probe. while others can not.

just curious what the protocol looks like.

Any chance you would have non-ASCII characters in your schematic data(net names, part names, pin names?)  Unicode characters may not work still.

sometimes it is not ok, but after a while, all is well. so not sure what could be the problem.
