Strange Triangle Shape in Part Footprint

I am having an issue where parts I place are having this strange house / triangle shape impose on the pads.  The issue shows up in random discrete resistors and capacitors in several different components throughout the design.  Inspection of the part footprint shows nothing like this - in other words, the part footprint is completely normal.

I have attached an image of the issue for a bit of clarity.

Has anyone seen anything like this?

Check the padstack definition for the pad used. it could be you have a different shape for soldermask or pastemask or you have a flash symbol defined for those layers. You can try turning colors (subclasses) all off the turn them on one by one to see what layer the "triangle" is on. Setup - Colors (or Display - Color/Visibility) command then look at the Stackup folder.
