Is it necessary to handle SCH Netlist WARNING: ORCAP-36005/36006/36042

Hi there,

we sue ORCAD to netlist out SCH. Met several handreds of warnings, three examples listed below. Why would this happen and should we just ignored them ?  Judged from the key word “renamed”, I guess they do not actually affect the netlist files, so no need to handle them one by one ?  Thanks  !

WARNING(ORCAP-36005): Net "VFP1_A_TX_64CH_BLOCK3_TX_PULSER_TR_8CH22" is renamed to "VFP1_A_TX_64CH_BLOCK3_TX_PULSER".

WARNING(ORCAP-36006): Part Name "CERAMICCAPACITOR_C_2_1MX0M5X0M55_1M_C_15N" is renamed to "CERAMICCAPACITOR_C_2_1MX0M5X0M5".

WARNING(ORCAP-36042): Pin "VDD" is renamed to "VDD#141" as visible power pin of same name already exists in Package 2309407-3A , J6A: CONN_DDR4, CONN_DDR4_SO_DIMM (86.36, 15.24).

    It's not really necessary to handle these since the renaming will be transparent. You might want to set the "Char Limit" in Capture to 255, Tools>Create Netlist>PCB (Editor), Setup, Char Limit default is 31. You will need to change the Long Name Size in PCB Editor to match, Setup>Design Parameters>Design tab, already 255 in recent versions. That will remove some but leave the "Pin Renaming" in the output list, this can be added to the Ignored DRCs, if required.
