slide other tracks while moving a component

Hi,

I am using OrCAD PCB Professional 17.2. I have finished routing of few DP tracks and later had to add another component to my design. So, made the respective changes in schematic and updated it to PCB.

Now I want to place this new component where I have previously routed the DP tracks. When I move the component the DP tracks will not slide, the component gets placed atop the DP Tracks and will show DRC errors.

Is there any way we can slide tracks when moving the component? Kindly help me on this issue.

Hi, The answer to your last question only is yes. When moving a component check your "Option" settings. Make sure you have the "Slide Etch" checked. However, dropping in a new part on top of some existing etch. Your traces are not going to spread apart automatically. If that's what you are looking for.
