(OrCAD/Allegro) Capture: Adding an extra hetergonenous part to a homogenous multipart package - Can it be done?

Having created a part consisting of 6 inverter gates as a homogenous multi part package with the individual gates -A, -B, -C (etc) and NOT wanting to hide the power pins I wanted to create a 7th "power" part (Vcc, GND). It seems that the only way to do this is to create a heterogenous part from the beginning and thus having to exactly re creating all the six gates graphics one by one.

Is there any "easy" way to accomplish this ?

You can only change the type of a multi-part package on creation, it cannot be converted. What you can do is, start a new Heterogeneous Part, copy the graphics from the Homogeneous Part and paste the graphics into the required section(s). You then need to work on the Pin Numbers and the "last" part of the package.

I think I tried that a long time ago but the copy-paste buffer did not work when "view-next-part" but I will give it a try with HF 056.

Copy / Paste in the Part and Symbol Editor has been part of the Capture training course material on Heterogeneous parts "forever" and has always worked when I have used it.

Tried it again and (of course) - it worked.
