OrCAD 15.7.0.p001

Hi,

My OrCAD .DSN file occur some problem.

When I "Place Database Part", in some .DSN file, the component some property is empty. We call this .DSN file is A.DSN

But in other .DSN file, I also use  "Place Database Part" to call the same component, property all is fine. We call call this .DSN file is B.DSN.

And in A.DSN file, if I select one of part in this file, and choose "Link Database Part", it always show warning "No part on the page is selected".

But in B.DSN, "Link Database part" is work.

Is there something error in OrCAD? Any possible reason cause this error?

    Yes, this is a Base Release version from August 2006 so you could expect "almost anything" since products, especially Base Release versions, get frequent updates. This version was superseded by the 16.0 release in August 2007. Current version, 17.2-2016 was released April 2016 and latest version is 17.2-2016.s056, updated in June 2019.
