place via array acting funny

Any one else having trouble with place via array (boundry) since the latest 17.2 hotfix57?

I'm trying to place an array just inside the outline of a 2" circular board.

Appears that allegro is not seeing the "non-circular object settings" ( I want the array to be a specific distance inside the outline and a specific spacing).

No matter what I do, even with "non-circular" selected, it adheres to the circular setting (specific radius and specific angle).

Thanks,

Phil

Just to be clear.  Did you try with HF56?  I am on HF56 and it works fine.  Have not tried HF57.

I also tried this on a coworkers computer who has also installed HF57. His seems to be stuck on the "circular settings". Just the opposite of what mine is doing.

I think it sticks on whatever setting you have selected when you invoke the command.

Ok, try one more thing in HF57 for me. ( I see something whacko in HF56 as well.)  Try this:  Place->Via Arrays->Boundary and then over in the options window in the section now called "Object-ring parameters", click on Circular, then non circular, then circular and my options window then correctly displays the parameters for circles and then it works.  I didn't see anything in the HF57 bug fix that touched this operation so I am thinking it's the same as what HF56 is doing.  The options window appears to now be out of sync with itself.  This is new since ~HF52?
