Intelligent PDF using Nitro Pro - Anyone know how to setup this up?

Our wonderful "IT" organization is removing Adobe Acrobat and replacing the tool with Nitro Pro 12.

(Version of Capture aka Orcad is 16.6)

We are able to create the 3 ps files using the tcl script, but we have been unable to figure out how to post process these in Nirto.  I understand this is not a Cadence issue, but I am hoping some one in the community has figured this out.

BTW they have taken away our Local Admin rights and our hands are tied.......

Kind Regards,

Wild.

Yes, I would agree, but I would need to get IT to do this and they really don't understand anything outside of thier "script".  It's like dealing with Comcasx.

    Thanks anyway Slight smile

Adobe can be annoying even at $15 a month (no, I don't want Photoshop.  No, I don't...  ok.  block.)

IT made a decision that shuts down engineering release.

Go ahead and have your management run this up the chain of command.

    I'll make popcorn.

LOL....  Right pass it up to management.  They want us to move to Altium....  I don't want to make management look to closely. Disappointed

Wish I understand what the attraction of Altium is.  At the moment, Altium 19.latest fails to launch on my laptop.  30 seconds of spinning circle then nothing.

Ultra-Librarian gives you the same schematic symbol cloud library access even though most component engineers would find it horrifying.

EMA demonstrated a new bi-directional Solidworks integration with Orcad Layout at PCBWest that just kills me over time spent deploying Circuitworks.

If it doesn't shorten schedules to hardware sitting on the bench without raining money on fabrication/assembly, why do engineers insist on pursuing the dumbest workflow possible because they think it's more convenient for them?

I took a 3 day course off site.  The tool crashed at least once on all 12 people in the class.  All planes are negative and can't have routes... I could go on.

I was able to convince my direct management to allow me to continue using the Cadence tools.

I did a 5 page write up on the pro's and con's, and I the only conclusion I can come up with why it has market share is it is cheap, and the library management has a great interface.  If Cadence was smart they would build a really nice library version control toll (current one is no better than SVN). and have a schematic link (Like Altium and Octoparts) the does not cost anything or require an additional license.

    I could go on.

But it must have been the roses, in the box of rain.
