ECAD/MCAD / IDX IDF export

hey,

I try to setup a collaboration between ECAD and MCAD. So far it works but the big problem is, that all parts on the back side (only on the back side) are twisted (180°).

If I export the PCB as a IDF, everything is fine. If I export this as IDX everything is twisted.

Is there an option so I can turn this off/on?

Thanks

I have seen this problem with step files on earlier 17.2 releases as well. Make sure you are running one of the latest hot fixes. I not sure which one fixed the problem that I had. But, was corrected.

IIRC there is an option in the Circuitworks settings for correcting the reversed bottom side parts.  I use IDF only with CWX and don't see any issues with this.  I suspect that option is to deal with the case you are seeing.

I found this setting in ProStep EDMD. Somehow Ive been searching for this option in the IDF-import.

Hi, I'm trying to make this round trip function work too, but have been unable to obtain any instruction from our channel partner on how to configure the libraries etc. so that Circuitworks understands what it's getting, so I'm curious if you have managed to obtain any documentation that walks through both the set up and how to actually use the MCAD collaboration tool? If you have got documentation, could you share the name of it so I can ask for that directly. Thanks!
