Regarding Allegro PCB Editor and Design Entry HDL.

I have a question that i am using Centos linux version for Allegro PCB Designer and Design Entry HDL but it is again and again getting crashed while doing export physical or after sometime. ? what is the problem ? Please Help

    Get the latest version from support.cadence.com is the first thing to try should by 17.2-2016 S059 (look at Help - About to see your version).

    We tried installing SPB17.2 on a machine running CentOs some time ago but it was not successful.

    It lookes like the Java used by RedHat  which is the supported OS and the Java used by CentOs differs.

    Very strange, but my  co-worker who is a Linux Expert was unable to resolve the issue and we gave up.

    Another question is wether Cadence would be willing to help since only SUSE and RedHat is oficially supported.
