Shape to route keepout gap?

Hello all,

Im having a hard time figuring out why my copper shapes are not butting up to the route keep outs edge.  Its putting a 0.03 mil gap between them. I assume its a preference setting but i cannot for the life of me find it. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks!

Chad

    A couple things I would try -

    - Move the shape off your board; Update the shape - Move it back onto the board and see if it corrects the problem.

    - Database Check the design and let it try to re-set the settings

    - Remove and re-create the shape in that area.

Other than that I'm at a loss. Sorry.

PCB Editor adds a small gap, 30 millionths of an inch or 20 microns for metric, in the graphical rendering of the Shapes to avoid "rounding errors" when the Shapes are evaluated. This has no effect whatsoever on the artwork output, that will use the defined boundaries and not the graphical rendering values. That alternative, which used to exist, would be to not add a small additional clearance and then get numerous "errors" due to graphical rendering - the cure for which used to be to add a small additional clearance in the Shape Clearances tab. Now this small clearance is built into PCB Editor.
