Altium to OrCAD Schematic Translation Page Name Truncation Issues

Hi All,

My client's Altium schematic pages have names that are longer than 31 characters. After translation, the schematic page names get truncated to 31 characters. Is there a way to prevent this and allow the full size schematic page name to be there? I saw in a posted response by oldmouldy in this post: https://community.cadence.com/cadence_technology_forums/f/pcb-design/24284/translating-a-layout-pcb-character-length indicate that there may be a way to do that but I cannot find it for OrCAD Capture CIS. I also think I found a post a while ago that indicated that I would really need to do it in the command line when executing the program but alas, I don't remember what that post was referencing so I cannot find it again. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Smiley

    Tools/Create Netlist/Setup

Under miscellaneous, set the device/net length to 255

FYI - inside allegro, make sure you set this too. Setup/Design Parameters

I made a simple Altium Project so I could show the issue. The following images will show that I made a schematic file that has more than 31 characters: abcdefghijklmnopqrstuvwxyz78901AllOfThisIsTruncated1.SchDoc, the English alphabet plus five numbers, equals 31 characters. You will not see AllOfThisIsTruncated1. This is being truncated during the translation process. I cannot set the 31 character limit unless I have the schematic open. Plus, PCB Editor is already set at 255 (I think it is the default setting). I need to have the ability to have AllOfThisIsTruncated1 to be included also. Is this possible?
