Generating BOMs automatically from Scripts

Hello all, I'm trying to figure out if anyone has figured out a way to extract BOMs from ORCAD designs that are not open. I work across multiple product groups with dozens of designers and working on different project files and I'm trying to figure out a way to have a script that I can run that will extract the BOM from projects that are stored in a specified location. I want the designers to store their active, current designs in a specific location for each project and I want a way to automatically run a bom report.
