Command not found: 3d_viewer

Wild

Just started designing in 17.x and I am having an issue with the 3D view command in both 17.2 and 17.4.

I get the following error when invoking the View -> 3D View from the menu bar:

Command not found: 3d_viewer

I have not found any issue with any other menu command.  I have the latest hot fixes in both versions (17.2 and 17.4).

I have verified pathing, I see no issues.

Also - It does work in 16.6, and I've tried invoking 17.2 and 17.4 in admin mode to no avail.

Any suggestion would be appreciated.

Kind Regards,

Wild

I think you might have an old menu file from 16.x that is using the wrong command...

    I just downloaded & installed a recent hotfix ( 17.2-2016 S061 [10/28/2019] Windows SPB 64-bit Edition )

my View menu doesn't have '3D View' but '3D Canvas' ( which takes much longer to load & view the data in 3D, but it does eventually work... )

That well be it.  i was coping over the menu files from Flowtherm PCB  which allows for pcb extraction from Allegro to Flowtherm.  I may just delete and reinstall.  Thanks for the idea!
