    Which Cadence product are you using? You've asked your question in the "Feedback, Suggestions and Questions" forum which is for issues with the forums, not for technical questions, but if you state which product you are using (I don't recognise the screenshot), I'll move the question into an appropriate forum.

    Capture schematic keeps your design file history in the Capture.ini file.

    PCB Editor keeps your design history in the SPB_Data directory under pcbenv.  Filename is allegro.mru

    One minor correction with RFinley's post:

    the PCB editor keeps your design history in the location determined by the value of the environment variable HOME.

    On the Windows platform if you have not explicitly set a HOME variable, the tool uses a combination of the HOMEDRIVE and HOMEPATH variables to generate the home directory (HOMEDRIVE:\HOMEPATH) on Windows. If the HOMEDRIVE and HOMEPATH variables do not exist, the tool uses c:/.

    In Capture.ini the Recent File List ist present:

    [Recent File List]
    File1=s:\smg\elektro\orcad\videoanlage.opj
    File2=s:\smg\elektro\orcad\vermessung.opj
    File3=s:\smg\elektro\orcad\nemo.opj
    File4=s:\smg\elektro\orcad\mephisto.opj
    File5=s:\smg\elektro\orcad\bwaplusmini.opj
    File6=s:\smg\elektro\orcad\qa.opj
    File7=S:\SMG\ELEKTRO\ORCAD\LIBRARY\JMAG\KOEPFE.OLB
    File8=s:\smg\elektro\orcad\library\jmag\koepfe.opj
    File9=s:\smg\elektro\orcad\warnfunk.opj

    If i can solve this problem, a big step ist done. Next will be the not working PDF-export (error-message, same as lot of us have) and the printer-bug (sheet from laserprinter comes completely black). But i will take it step by step.
