Can you create a replicate circuit from one .brd design and bring that into another .brd design

Ok, so this is the process of how I think you are describing it.

    1. Import in netlist from my schemaitc.

    2. Create a replicate circuit (.mdd) and save off to folder location.

    3. Start new schematic, with same circuit as replicate circuit and be sure that the new schematic uses the same schematic symbols name, pcb footprint and same value as the .mdd file

    4. Renumber and Annotate design.

5..Invoke apply replicate command and search for .mdd file and bring into new .brd file.

Not sure if I captured your instructions correctly.

    Thanks

Close but I skipped a bit.

    See these attached pdf's.

Do a practice run on a small design and see if you can follow this.

YouTube has a couple good vids for this too. Easy and clear. Watch it a couple/few times and give it a try.

Could not find any links in YouTube that describes replicating circuits from one design to another. Several that show how to replicate within the same design. If you do come across one in YouTube, would appreciate it if you could send it. I will continue looking myself. I did not receive any support from Cadence technical support other than they mention they do not really support it.

    Thanks

Did you follow the details in my pdf?  I've been using this procedure since early 2000's (v15.2)

I have shared this with other folks and they were able to follow it.  Let me know if you have issues.
