Dotted Shape Fill

Hi 

I have some small islands of Copper on my PCB which i would like to differentiate from the solid planes.

I just want that these islands are displayed with small dots. Tried to change it using User Preferences> Display> Opengl but it did not 

help. Any suggestion?
