Allegro Static IR drop dialog box does not appear

First time I have tried this, I am reading the manual PCB SI User Guide, chapter 9 Analyzing for static IR drop

I am on 16.3, license PCB SI XL.

Either command line irdrop, or menu Analyze -> IR Drop, the GUI analysis dialog box does not appear.

The command window shows its running the skill for the GUI:

Loading powerquest.cxt
Loading axlcore.cxt
Loading skillExt.cxt

but it does not launch the dialog box.

Suggestions?

Check your version. Not sure when the IR drop testing became available but might not have been 16.3 which was a long time ago. The latest release is 17.4.

It's n in the 16.2  manual, Analyzing for IR Drop ch 9, page 361.

And the code is there, see from above, it recognizes irdrop from the command line too, and IR drop is in the Analyze pull down menu.

    Thanks Steve,

Hi Randy OK just make sure you have the latest hotfix for 16.3 and see if that helps.
