Create pastemask only for populated components

Dear forum,

I would like to automatically generate a paste mask from component pads that do not have the attribute "do not populate". As pastemask_top is not defined in pad editor, the geometry for each pad should be copied from from begin_layer.

It is important to do this in an automated manner, because the PCB has over 8000 pads. Is there an integrated functionality in Allegro PCB Designer / Allegro Design Entry HDL (17.2), if not is it possible to do this via a skill file?

There is no one-click option that could generate a paste mask in Allegro PCB. Since your requirement is more of customization you may have to use skill file.
