STEP file generation

Hello everyone.

I've finished my project and I want to generate a STEP file. I selected Export -> MCAD -> STEP... I pressed Export but I've gotten an error.

(SPMHGE-268): step out had errors, use Viewlog to review the log file.

The problem is, a Viewlog file is empty and I don't know what's going on. I have no DRC errors. I tried other settings but it didn't help. Could you help me?

I'm using Allegro 17.2 S063: try File > Export > STEP then select the info you want to export

First make sure that you are using the latest version of software so 17.2-2016 S068 or 17.4-2019 S007 (both available from http://support.cadence.com or Download Manager). If you have those it could be that the STEP models you have used are different units so try Setup - User Preferences - Interfaces - STEP and enable step_export_mixed_units.

View the board in 3D mode & you can find the export option there and you need to select .step format
