How to keep the cline segment when they touch the same net via?

Hi all,

I wonder about the routing skill, I want to keep the straight cline segment when they touch with same net via.

if one of cline contact with via, it connected with via automatically. but if I want to move the cline segment without via (I meant the via fixed at same location), the cline already sticked with via,

so it separated each other and move separately,,,

for easy understanding, I added the captured pics.

1. connect with same net via (with Route Slide Mode)

2. the straight cline is separated automatically

3. so if I want to move downward the straight cline, they move separately (like below pic)

But I want to move like below pic with ignore the connection of via

if you have any good idea, please teach me.

Thank you!

    Hi

Since the via is part of the same net if you drag the cline segment  in picture 1 using slide and it touches the via it will connect as you show in picture 2,  "provided you release the left mouse button".

If you keep dragging the cline it will by-pass the via.

When the clines are connected to the via as in picture 2 it is not possible to use slide to disconnect them from the via because the system will see them as connected to the via because that via has the same net name.

Basically your design has what they call "Redundant wiring",   What I mean is you already have a net of the same name connected to that Via and possibly a cline connected to it on another layer that is not shown in the picture.
Ideally you would want to try minimize this type of wiring in a design so your routing is more point to point than wrap around which is what you have.

Try sliding the cline in picture one but continue to slide it passed the via so it "Does not Connect". When sliding the cline you should see it try to "Wrap Around the via", keep on sliding down and it should turn out like picture 5.

    All the best.
