double click on .brd file does not open correct file in win XP

Having installed the Allegro 15.2 I was not able to reproduce the correct opening of allegro .brd files by double click. Anyone out there having this problem too
?

    Sounds like your file association is pointing to an old version of software. SourceLink solution 11073374 should be helpful. It's written for Win2K, but should apply to WinXP too. I found it and similar solutions by searching SourceLink with the keywords "file open double".
