We use a UNIX binary created in 1992 by Scott Baker which will redefined the refdes on a board by row and column such that parts are easy to find on the board. We are now migrating to the PC and are looking for a PC version of the program. Has anyone written a program that will define the refdes properties by location?

  • Well, it doesn't give the engineers EXACTLY what they're used to (and change is difficult to persuade). I'll try to bend some arms, though.
