"Tips from Cadence" hilighting pins of "dummy" net

archive
archive over 20 years ago

At times, users would like to hilight all the pins on the board that are part of ""dummy"" net at once without having to select them one at a time. Selecting one pin of the ""dummy"" net only hilights that pin. How may I see them all at once ?

1. Select the Hilight command.
2. In the Find Filter make sure that Nets are selectable.
3. Set the Find By Name fields to Net and Name and then type in the word ""dummy"" (without quotes) in the Find By Name field (to the left of the More button) and hit a carriage return. You will now see all the dummy pins at once.
