This is enabled by default and is painful to me. How can I disable this by default?

when you add a connection (cline) from a pin, simply double click the pin, then a cline and the add connect command will show up automatically without clicking any menu.

if you set the "enable single click execution" on and click the pin one time, then a cline and the add connect command will show up automatically.

if you set the "enable single click execution" off and click the pin one time, nothing will happen because you did not double click the pin.

the single click execution does not work for all commands.

if the enable single click execution is on and you save the file, the enable single click execution is on as default when you open the file.

you can always assign a funckey as follows:

funckey Home "pop dyn_option_select 'Customize@:@Enable Single Click Execution'"

if you hit the home key, it toggles.

I understand what it does. All I want to do is turn it off by default when Allegro starts. Thanks though I will add the funckey.
