Default color scheme / grid settings for new footprints (.dra)

I am a new user and would like to know if there is an option to set a default grid and default color settings. I am currently tasked with adding lots of footprints and the first thing to do is usually to change the grid settings and color settings for that part.

The easiest way to do this is to create an empty .DRA-symbol and in that canvas set the colors, grids, etc. the way you want them.

Then save that .DRA in some easy to remember name. It can then be used as a template.

The next time you start creating asymbol, use the wizard and select that template in the browser.

Then ,the workspace will appear the way you want it and you can go on from there defining the symbol.

Yes you can make a user defined template. Have a read of this https://www.parallel-systems.co.uk/wp-content/uploads/2020/02/User_Defined_Templates.pdf
