User defined Attributes

I am trying to add a user defined attribute to my .brd file with a data type as "string". Creating the attribute is easy, but how do you attach it to the .brd file?

Assuming you already added the property to the "Layout" Data Element, select Edit > Property. In the Find By Name field choose Drawing and select the More button. Then choose "Drawing Select" - OK, choose the property from the Available Properties list and fill in the value - OK. Hope this helps.

Yes, this worked. However, is there a way to do a "show element" on the drawing to see what properties are actually attached?

You cannot get that info from 'show element', but you can get it from Display > Property... Select the property and then select "Show Val". HTH!
