Add new libraries to the Pspice Search windows

Sorry for bothering, but I really cannot understand how to do this - using Orcad 17.4

I'd like to add a new library to the list of libraries used in the Capture Place>Pspicecomponents>Search functionality. The library is meant to add a missing part and its associaten Pspice model

So far I have created a .lib with the Pspice model (actualli, I created it using Pspice Model Editor) and I have used Pspice Model Editor > Export to capture Part Library to generate the OLB. So I get a .OLB and a .LIB

But I don't seem to find a way to have Capture consider those files.

I tried so far without success:

  • I tried modifying %home%\cdssetup\OrCAD_Capture\17.4.0\capture.ini adding the folder to the PSpiceSymLibPath variable
  • modified %home%\cdssetup\OrCAD_PSpice\17.4.0\Pspice.ini adding a new lib entry to the [PART LIBS] (value the name of the lib I created)
  • Tried placing the olb in tools\cadence\libraries\pspice and the lib in tools\pspice\library

I also tried manually creating an olb but that does not help.

Looks like the list of libraries is in some way hardcoded, but it's not really the ini - i can see libraries not listed in the [PART LIBS]  section of he pspice.ini

Can someone please point me out to  some resource explaining how this is supposed to be done?
Thanks
