Castellated Holes 0.55mm pitch

Hi I want to design castellated holes on my very small PCB(13X10mm). There will be total 28 such holes with 14 on each side of PCB. 

The pitch between holes is 0.55mm. So, we are bound to have 0.25mm diameter of these holes and pad size could be 0.3mm.

An example showing illustration(not actual PCB):

The approach would be to place rectangular pads(0.3x 1/1.5mm) with 0.25mm holes on the edge of PCB and let manufacturer cut these pads in half. Or any other inputs?

I am wondering if this small pitch would be problem or is pretty standard?

    We settled on 1.5mm pitch with 1.05mm wide pad.   But, this is an RF power amp system on module.   For cost, we wanted to forgo xray insp in volume but have high yield on a $5 module.  

    If you have any warpage, 0.55mm pitch might be problematic in volume.   (then I realized our module is about 2" x 3"...  kindof large)

    If you can find an existing device on the shelf with 0.55mm pitch, make a board or test solder a scrap part to a sheet of copper or I think there's a proto board of grid squares for RF/SMT designs.

    A cheap solution would be to slide some pins so they're on all four sides.  You will need to leave enough webbing to support the boards during assembly, something we had to deal with having pins on all sides.
