Changes to parts storage from 15.7 to 17.4

Dear Community,

Under OrCAD CIS 15.7, the individual parts could be stored in a MS Access Database where a resistor symbol and footprint could be stored with different values for the same symbols and shape.

I want to know how individual parts are stored in OrCAD 17.4 as this uses a different system and Microsoft no longer has the Database extension to allow for the database storage in a similar format.

Is it possible to store the parts in a similar fashion? (a part number is 10R 0603 so has a resistor symbol and 0603 footprint. A different part number has the same symbol and same footprint, but is 24R in value instead)!
