Default column ordering in CIS database parts window

RexL

I learned from user guide that if I set up the column ordering or column width in CIS database parts window, it will be saved for next session. My question is that, instead of every user have to do the set up in their laptop, is it possible to have a default set up to my whole company.

I guess the CIS saves the set up in a file, does anyone know where is the file location and what is the file name? If I share my file to all other users to replace their file, can I make a company defaulting column ordering rule by this way?

Thanks.

Each time you open Orcad, in the session log window, it calls out the path to the Capture.INI file that it is using for that session.    Your CIS part browser setup is saved in that file.

Capture.INI Manager allows you to replace from a common INI file, entire sections of this config file each time Orcad is launched (your list of most-recently opened designs can be left alone.)
