Step file is missing components from Allegro 3d Canvas convertion

I imported some connector step file to the PCB. And then I exported the PCB to a step file. Now when I import the step file to SolidWorks, I am only able to see bare PCB. And all my other components are missing from the step file.

I also tried exporting in IGES file format. The same issue is noticed. The components were missing. I have attached here some pictures for you to see.

The left image in my PCB with all the connectors. And the right image is my exported step file viewed in Solidworks. As you can see most of my components are missing. Can you help me solve this issue.

Regards,

Akshay

Play around with some of the settings when exporting the SW file (try multiple file outputs). Check the sizes of the different files and you might be able to figure out what setting works best to translate all the 3D parts. Then importing from SW, you might have to trial-n-error SW to make it 'realize' new parts. We've had issues when exporting to SW and not having an 'initial' design in SW. SW just didn't seem to understand it didn't have a source board in SW to translate NEW data into. Lots of trial-n-error.

Next, if it doesn't work - are you Exporting from Allegro directly, or Exporting within the 3D mapper tool? I've heard better success Exporting from the 3D Mapper tool.
