A part gets off the cursor when placing or moving it

Whenever I try to place or move an element in PCB Designer, it gets far off the board right after clicking on it while the cursor stays at the same position. The only way to get the part back to the same position is to zoom out and move the cursor to the left down corner which is the origin. But still it stays off the cursor. It's all done before confirming the part position by clicking for the 2nd time. The part should normally be placed under the cursor when moving/placing it.

I can move parts around, but the offset is so huge that I cannot work at all. What's the way to fix it? Here's a series of screenshots reproducing the issue. All images are zoomable.

I've just figured it out myself. The reason was the wrong origin location of the padstack. I had to set it up at the center of the element during developing the padstack.
