problem with removing layers on the cross section editor

hello

i have removed all symbols, clines, shapes, vias and everything from the design file but still can not remove the layers on the cross section editor.

i have remove symbols from the parts list and purged all padstacks and nets as well.

i have also removed all the setup on the artwork control form.

what else do i need to purge from the design file in order to remove layers on the cross section editor?

    You usually get a log file that lists the objects and locations. If you are not seeing that try a Database Check and see if that helps.
