Pspice template

archive
archive over 19 years ago

I have downloaded Digi-key database and its library to my computer. I place some of its parts to my design. When I create netlist to the schematic, there are some warnings saying that my components do not have the Pspice Template or No Pspice template to the component. I am just new to the Cadence.

Please tell me what should I do to see the simulation of the circuit with Digi-key component. I use CIS for my design, so if possible tell me how to setup the parts and link them to the libraries. what section should I read to learn about this.

The PSpiceTemplate property defines the PSpice syntax for the part's netlist entry into spice netlist that PSpice engine uses.  The property value is difference for each part type i.e. diode will have different property value syntax than a bjt transistor.
