Cannot create sub drawings

archive
archive over 19 years ago

Just upgrade to 15.5 and sub-drawing is not working. After creating the sub-drawing and picking the "Pick clipboard origin point" an error message comes back.

E- *Error* eval: undefined function - axlSnapToObject

No sub-drawing is created.

Here are some other error message on opening a design.

E- *Error* alias: alias is already used as function name - _axlDBCreateSymDefSkeleton
E- *Error* alias: alias is already used as function name - _axlDBCreateComponent
E- *Error* eval: undefined function - axlReportRegister
thanks

    Just some ideas:

You are just upgrade t 1.5:
First, do you somewhere in your configuration some files from olders version?

    I mean:
    - Have you customise CDS_SITE
    - Have you TELENV variable?
    - Do you have old files in you $HOME/pcbenv?
    .
    .
    .

Secund, do you have install ISR's?

Check your paths in your OS Environment Variables. I am pretty sure that I have seen this before when some of the system variables were still pointed at old software tree locations.
