Moving a selection by user pick help

archive
archive over 19 years ago

When copying elements that include via's and all pins how do you stop "user pick" from snapping to centre of the nearest pin/via? In other words when trying to pick on a position in mid-air that is close to a pin or via it auto snaps to the centre of these items rather than what's wanted!

The reason for wanting this is that when moving an area of elements you want to specify a certain point that would make it easier to drop the move or copy into the right position. If you have to do it close to a via for instance then when you user define the resultant point the elements are not where you would like them.
