Allegro 15.7 crashes when using measure

archive
archive over 19 years ago

Hi all,

I have also recently moved up to 15.7 and have been experiencing occasional crashes when using the measure functionality on both .brd and .dra files. Unfortunately I have not been able to identify any type of trigger for the crash other than it always occurs when using measure. What's really weird is that when I run a script created from the jrl file of one of the crash sessions, sometimes it crashes and sometimes it doesn’t.   I have opened an SR on this problem, but as of yet Cadence has not been able to reproduce the crash.  We have multiple users here at Unisys that have also experienced this problem.  It doesn’t happen often, but 1or 2 times a day is still 1 or 2 times too many…..   Has anyone else seen this problem?

Thanks,

Randy

I just wanted to let everyone know that this problem was related to the allegro_html env variable being set. Cadence has fixed the problem in the latest 15.7 ISR dated, 200609081231.

Thanks to the Cadence for the fast resolution of this problem.
