Checks In DFM

Hello,

Can any one help me understand what are the Precautions & Checks normally carried out during the Design For Manufacturing (DFM) and Design For Testability (DFT) Process. Can you suggest me a link or any other source for where i can get a complete information about these two topics.

I would suggest you start with IPC 2221 for DFM , and IPC -TM-650 for DFT. You should also talk with your PWB and PWA vendor to get a good understanding f what their requirements are.
