Thick Film design

archive
archive over 18 years ago

Hi all.  I have been asked to do a thick film design (embedded resistors) and I really don't know where to start. Can anyone point me to a tutorial or attach an Allegro sample?

Also, any info as to the specs I must include to send to a fab house would be also greatly appreciated.

Not sure what you mean by registered , http://www.ohmega.com/ is free site with a ton of information on burried resistors including a how to design for allegro. You will need some additional things for thick film as it is geqared towards rigid PCB board design, but Ihaven't design a thick film hybrid in over 20 years it wasn't with allegro so I am not sure I would be much help,

I scrolled down to the place where it had an article for embedded resistors, an April 2004 article that sent me to :www.onboard-technology.com
(where I subscribed), but I cannot get to that issue. Maybe it has been deleted............
