archive

Hello,
I am wondering if someone could give me advice on how much distace I should put between my planes that are on my split plane layer.  I was thinking at least 50 mil but not quite sure.

Thanks,
Louis

    Louis,

You can go up to a minimum of 25 mils within split power planes if they all are digital and 50 mils between analog and digital power planes.

    regards,

We use an air gap of 0.5mm(20mils) between planes that are on a split plane layer.
